I could pour my heart out
on this Christmas Eve
to the silence that surrounds
such a peaceful night
the way Dreaming Tree flows
from glass to mouth
and lips part
words weep
while memories dance around and around
like the twinkling of lights
that circle ornaments from the past
tales are told and stories will unfold
your photograph sits by my bedside
the tender moments never fade
and emptiness can rest at ease
as the minutes reliably tick by
days turning to years end
...beginnings will surely find tomorrow
JY love forever and always TY

I always end up weeping when I read your words. My dear sister, you are a wonderful writer. I wish there was no more sorrow. I dream of happiness for you. I guess saddness must always be part of the weave of our lives. I'm glad for the joy you have and the wonderful Christmas you spent with your beautiful children! Peace, Pamela. I love you. Jen
