Star light star bright first star I see tonight...

Solitude lingers peacefully
Off in the distance
Eyes wide in search of Heaven
Rest with knowledge and tranquility
Voices in the night speak softly
With a touch of sorrow
That drifts off into the emptiness
Of a star and satellite filled night
Endless possibilities…
Infinite opportunities…
Eternal longing…

Day after Day
another Sunrise
followed by a Sunset,
Wind blows,
Tide shifts; highs and lows,
Man in the Moon
shaves off a Sliver
sprinkling Star Dust
on the Milky Way
drifts around
until in full view
showing off His Metrosexuality
with the never ending Question
Smirk or Scowl?

Over and over,
repetition,
reverberation,
reiteration,

Confirming what little we actually know about Self, Father, Son or the Holy Spirit…

Where are the days when a light heart would wake to the sunshine of a morning rise? When will the evenings bring sleep with dreams of promise again?
